Reproductive System Drugs - Video Lesson

Hey, everybody. Welcome back to our lesson series on the classes of medication. This video discusses medications for the reproductive system, the basic anatomy of the reproductive system, and essential information about medication and medication administration for these disorders. Before discussing the medications, let's take a look at both the male and female reproductive systems. In males, the internal genitalia includes the testes where sperm is produced, the epididymis for sperm storage, and the vas deferens, which transport sperm. The prostate gland and seminal vesicles contribute fluids to semen. Externally, the penis and scrotum are critical for delivering sperm. In females, the internal genitalia comprise the ovaries, which produce eggs, the fallopian tubes, where fertilization occurs, the uterus, where a fertilized egg develops, and the vagina, the birth canal. Externally, the labia, clitoris.
