Welcome to today's lesson on instrumentation in MRI. This lesson focuses on two crucial aspects, the patient transport system and patient comfort measures. The patient transport system is a large, non ferromagnetic patient table. The table is raised and lowered to allow for ease of access to the patient and moves horizontally into the magnet bore.
