Computer System and Graphical User Interface - Video Lesson

Hey everybody. Welcome to today's lesson on instrumentation in MRI. This lesson focuses on the computer system of an MRI scanner, specifically the graphical user interface or GUI and the pulse generator module. It is important to understand these components as the entire process of an MRI scan begins and ends with the computer system. The computer system of an MRI scanner is responsible for controlling the scanner's hardware, processing the received signals, and reconstructing images. It integrates sophisticated algorithms to manage the data collected during a scan and supports real time imaging capabilities. The graphical user interface or GUI of an MRI system is the user facing platform through which technologists interact with the machine. It is here that the technologist identifies the patient, including their age, weight, gender, and their physical orientation inside of the scanner. This allows the sys
