Abdomen Sonography: Liver Cysts and Abscesses - Video Lesson

Welcome back to our abdominal ultrasound pathology series, where we will cover some of the important liver pathologies. This overview will cover key diffuse and focal liver pathologies, including cysts and abscesses, while highlighting the role of Doppler and clinical correlation and accurate diagnosis. Let's get started. The liver is a vital organ with a wide range of functions, and just as wide a range of potential pathologies. From subtle changes in echotexture to complex focal lesions, sonographic evaluation of the liver requires a solid understanding of both normal anatomy and disease patterns. It is nonvascular on Doppler and requires no treatment. Multiple simple cysts
