Abdomen Sonography: Liver Benign Neoplasms - Video Lesson
Welcome back to our abdominal ultrasound series. In this lesson, we will discuss benign liver neoplasms, which are frequently seen in abdominal ultrasound. We will focus on common benign liver masses, including hepatic hemangiomas, focal nodular hyperplasia, hepatic adenomas, and regenerative nodules. We'll review their typical echogenicity and vascular patterns, explore how Doppler imaging can assist in evaluation, and discuss when further imaging is recommended based on clinical history and risk factors. The liver is home to a variety of benign lesions, many of which are found incidentally during imaging for unrelated concerns. While these masses are non cancerous, it's important to recognize their key sonographic features and understand when further imaging or clinical correlation is needed. The most common
