Spot Imaging and Last Image Hold - Video Lesson

Hey, everybody. In this lesson, we will discuss two features of fluoroscopy that are a lot like static rays, spot imaging, and the last image hold. Both of these processes allow the operator to capture still images during a fluoroscopic procedure. It is important to understand the difference between the two because spot imaging is associated with a higher image quality and higher patient dose than last image hold. Spot imaging is a static floragraph that is made during a flora agnostic examination to permanently record conditions that are visualized during that fluoroscopic procedure. It uses higher radiographic exposure techniques to obtain better image quality than were obtained by fluoroscopy.
