You should remember that beam quantity refers only to the total number of photons in the x-ray beam, not their energies. Beam quantity is also known as beam intensity. The x-ray beam quantity or intensity is influenced by several factors, including the milli amperage, that's the MA, exposure time, KVP, distance, and filtration.
