Fluoroscopic Capabilities with the CT Scanner - Video Lesson

Okay. This morning, we're gonna look at floral capabilities of the Siemens somatome definition scanner. This is an additional piece of software and hardware that comes with the CT scanner. And it enables the scanner to do localized slice by slice section, for fine needle aspiration biopsies, for anything where you wanna place a needle in an exact and very small spot. So in order to do that, we also used the spiral capabilities of the scanner to locate the area that we actually are gonna be studying. So we're gonna bring up a protocol And we have a phantom on the table out here on the scanner, and we're gonna simulate this morning doing a bone biopsy in a pelvis
