CT Neck (Coronal) - Video Lesson

Welcome back. In this sectional anatomy tutorial, we'll be looking at a coronal CT of the neck. In this first slice, we're actually on the far anterior side of the patient's face, which is why we really can't see very much of the patient's neck yet. But there are several familiar anatomical structures For example, just starting down here at the bottom of the patient, we can see this clavicle bone here articulating with the sternum, We can also see both sides of the mandible here in the patient's face, and we can also see this sphenoid sinus on the most posterior portion of the patient's face. And just in case this comes up on your registry, we also have a good, coronal view of the patient's tongue. Moving deeper into the patient, mostly more of the same structures, we can see these clavicles on both sides articulating with the patient's manubrium, which is the upper segment of the sternum. We can still see those mandible bones. These mandible bones are exactly where you'd expect them to be. They're large bones on the lateral
