Sacrum/Coccyx - Video Lesson

In this view, we will be demonstrating the AP axial sacrum. The AP axial sacrum should be performed with a patient lying supine on the table with a forty inch source to image distance and fifteen degrees cephalic tube angulation. So our patient is on the table, sup supine, and I have the IR and the Becky trick. We are going to use an angle of fifteen degrees cephalic. We are going to use the pubic symphysis as our central ray. We wanna center two inches above that. An easy way to find the cubic synthesis is to just wiggle her toe and you can feel the greater trochanter move. When the greater trochanter moves, The pubic symphysis is in the same plane as that. So we're going to center there two inches above using the mid sagittal plane.
