Hey, everyone. Welcome to today's lesson on MR Enterography. In this lesson, we will discuss patient preparation and setup, slice positioning, indications for this exam, protocol sequences, and common imaging challenges associated with this study. Let's get started. MR enterography, or MRE, is used to evaluate the small bowel, surrounding mesentery, and vasculature. Common indications for this study include Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, small bowel obstructions, gastrointestinal bleeding, small bowel tumors, celiac disease, and bowel wall inflammation or strictures. Let's take a look at the patient preparation and setup for this exam. Several steps are best performed prior to positioning the patient on the table. Patients should be NPO for four to six hours prior to reduce gastric secretion
